Briones "Newt" Hike

Each year we go on a hike looking for newts! The elusive California newts make their way to hidden egg laying pools, filled by the winter rains, deep in the heart of the Briones Regional Park. We observe the newts in their natural habitat as they traverse the moist morning landscape and along the way also see frogs, lizards and early spring flowers.
